Dr. Mayumi Pierce, MD

Dr. Mayumi Pierce is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who believes that thoughtful psychiatric care begins with depth of understanding. She integrates psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, medication management, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, recognizing that emotional suffering is shaped by each person's relationships, life experiences, physical health, neurobiology, and sociocultural context.

She practices psychiatry with careful clinical reasoning, intellectual rigor, and a deep sense of responsibility to her patients. Whether working with someone newly seeking care or someone who has spent years seeking answers, Dr. Pierce values thoughtful diagnosis, nuanced treatment, and a committed therapeutic relationship that facilitates lasting change.

Dr. David Tran, MD, MPP

Founder • Psychiatrist • Psychotherapist

Dr. David Tran is a psychiatrist providing psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, and medication management for adults. Throughout his career, he has been committed to expanding access to high-quality psychiatric care for diverse communities. He has particular experience in LGBTQ+ mental health, gender-affirming care, HIV care, and working with Vietnamese-speaking patients.

In addition to his work at Meitri, Dr. Tran serves as Medical Director of a public HIV and transgender health clinic and continues to practice community psychiatry. His training in public policy and experience working across public and private settings bring a broad perspective to his practice and reflect his longstanding commitment to thoughtful, equitable, and individualized psychiatric care.

Dr. Brittaney Belyeu, MD

Dr. Brittaney Belyeu is an internist who utilizes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic clarification, and medication support. Her expertise in internal medicine brings a broad medical perspective to psychiatric care, particularly when emotional and physical symptoms overlap or diagnoses are difficult to clarify.

Whether providing an initial consultation or ongoing treatment, Dr. Belyeu emphasizes careful listening, thoughtful clinical reasoning, and individualized care. She works collaboratively with patients and other Meitri clinicians to develop comprehensive, practical treatment plans.

Dr. Mae Dizon, DNP

Prescriber • Psychotherapist • Coach

Dr. Mae Dizon is a Doctor of Nursing Practice offering psychiatric medication management, supportive psychotherapy, and coaching. Her years in primary care continue to inform her work, giving her an appreciation for the many ways physical health, emotional well-being, and daily life influence one another.

She enjoys helping patients translate insight into practical change. Through medication management, psychotherapy, and coaching, Dr. Dizon works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized strategies that support both long-term growth and day-to-day functioning. She provides services in both English and Tagolog.

Michelle Danielsson, PMHNP

Michelle Danielsson, PMHNP provides psychiatric medication management and coaching. Before specializing in psychiatry, Michelle worked as a pediatric transplant nurse, where she developed a deep appreciation for the importance of long-term therapeutic relationships, patient education, and whole-person care.

Michelle enjoys helping patients better understand their mental health and utilize practical strategies that support lasting change. She works closely with each patient to create treatment plans that are individualized, realistic, and aligned with their goals.

Pedro Baneulos, LCSW

Psychotherapist

Pedro Banuelos, LCSW is a psychotherapist whose approach is grounded in curiosity, authenticity, and the therapeutic relationship. He values creating a space where patients feel respected and supported as they work toward their goals.

Pedro provides psychotherapy in both English and Spanish. In addition to his work at Meitri, he provides school-based mental health services supporting adolescents and families. His experience across educational and clinical settings informs a warm, collaborative, and developmentally informed approach to psychotherapy.

Christina Chin, ACSW

Psychotherapist

Christina Chin, ACSW is a warm, engaged, and collaborative therapist. Her experience spans community mental health and intensive outpatient DBT and EMDR programs, where she has worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of psychiatric concerns.

She believes meaningful change requires active engagement from both therapist and patient. She values honesty, curiosity, and direct communication while helping patients move toward enduring change.
