Pedro Banuelos, LCSW is a psychotherapist whose approach is grounded in curiosity, authenticity, and the therapeutic relationship. He works to create a space where patients feel understood and respected while also offering a direct, practical approach to helping them make meaningful changes in their lives.
Pedro has a particular interest in working with anxiety and executive functioning difficulties. He uses a direct approach to work collaboratively with patients through problem-solving and building positive behavioral habits.
Pedro provides psychotherapy in both English and Spanish. In addition to his work at Meitri, he has extensive experience providing school-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and families. His background across clinical, educational, and community settings informs a developmentally and culturally informed approach to psychotherapy that considers each person within the broader context of their relationships, identity, and lived experience.
